Sometimes I’m glad I don’t have a car in the city because I know how easy it would be to load it up with items from Target on a weekly (read: daily) basis.
But then I discovered how fast Target ships to my apartment — total game changer. You only have to spend $25 for free shipping and it always arrives before the date they say (hiding my credit card on myself right now).
With spring in the air, I’ve got a new wave of wanting to decorate our apartment — or at least add some new items to freshen it up.
Here’s what I’m currently eyeing:
The greens and blues woven into this striped throw remind me of California beaches — the exact thing I dream about on cold New York City days.
Our current lamps look like we stole them out of a college dorm room. This oak wood tripod floor lamp screams adulthood to me.
This Cozy Nights soy candle is my absolute favorite. I’ve never had a good nose (thanks to allergies) but I’ve gone through three of these babies in just a few months and they burn up to 75 hours. The woodsy, fresh smell has also gotten many compliments from guests we have over.
I’ve been looking for a new picture to add to our gallery wall and this framed watercolor print might be just the perfect pick. It’s under $40 and comes framed — sold!
Because mail needs to be put somewhere other than all over the counter. This woven basket would also make a nice fruit bin.
Evan wouldn’t be too happy if I brought home a PINK tufted arm chair but if I lived alone, this would be one of the big ticket items I’d buy to curl up and read a book in.
Everyone knows my obsession with pillows. This pom throw pillow would really brighten up our grey couches for spring. And it’s super affordable! But I might have to ditch 5 or 10 that I already own before buying another.
Nate Berkus knows the way to my heart. If we had more counter space in our bathroom, I’d be all for buying these gold canister brush holders. Right now I keep them in a plastic cup in our mirror cabinet (classy!).
I’ve always believed duvet covers should be white to brighten up a room but I like how this one has a simple pattern.
I almost bought this faux fur bench when I first laid eyes on it in a Target store a few weeks ago. I even took a few pictures and sent them to Evan, trying to convince him that we NEED it. I lost, but my heart is still set on ordering it in the middle of the night.
